Michael Reiss

Michael Reiss is a Senior Technologist at IDT, where he leads the vision and execution of the company’s most complex and impactful projects. With over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, Michael is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology strategist known for building high-performing organizations and delivering innovative, value-driven solutions. He co-founded a successful Chicago-based IT consulting firm and has held leadership roles including Chief Technologist and Director of IT following a merger with a public company. Michael later facilitated a management buyout at a local consultancy, where he served as a partner until its acquisition in 2021. Today, he focuses his expertise on serving not-for-profit and educational organizations, where his work can drive meaningful impact. Michael’s qualifications span technology vision, project management, financial strategy, and vendor selection. He also remains active in civic service, holding positions such as Board Member of the Rotary Club of Palatine and Commissioner of the Salt Creek Park District, and is a recipient of the Christifideles Award from the Archdiocese of Chicago.
