| | Implementation Consultant - IDTConsulting | Job Description The Implementation Consultant works as part of a team to design, implement, and support Dynamics GP applications. This position provides business solutions to small and mid-market companies by communicating effectively with senior level customers and end users.
As an Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for implementation and/or project management of Dynamics GP engagements, ensuring quality delivery practices, generating new consulting opportunities with existing clients and working with the sales team on new client opportunities. The Implementation Consultant also interacts with all levels of IDT Consulting technical and sales staff to support, troubleshoot and advise in areas of product implementations and upgrades.
| Responsibilities
- Utilize Project Management methodology to coordinate resources, develop and maintain project budget and timeline, and communicate progress

Document client system topology and communicate changes needed to comply with software requirements

Install and configure software on server and workstations

Provide client training based on a pre-established curriculum
| Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology

Two years experience working with Financial and Distribution Application Software, preferably in a consulting environment

Consulting experience with one or more of the following: Microsoft Dynamics GP, (MAS 90, MAS 200, MAS 500) Oracle, JD Edwards, Peoplesoft, SAP or similar ERP systems Dynamics SL (Solomon), Dynamics NV (Navision), Dynamics AX (Axapta), Sage

Related experience with Crystal Reports, FRx, MS SQL, Oracle, VBA, VB or IIS

Knowledge of Dynamics GP Financial, and/or Manufacturing, Distribution, Field Service modules, preferably with certification in one or more Microsoft technical and application software solutions

Previous accounting experience (CPA a plus) preferred

Effective communication skills with customers across all levels of an organization

Strong organizational capabilities, problem solving abilities and time management skills
