John W. Dobbins

Vice President, Account Management


John Dobbins has rejoined IDT as Vice President of Sales - Account Management. In 2003, John managed our Microsoft Dynamics GP practice for 2 years after IDT acquired RPM, which he had cofounded. In his current position, John has responsibility for developing, maintaining and growing IDT’s ongoing sales and customer service for IDT and IDTC customers. His primary focus is to develop strategic programs and to expand IDT’s presence within their customer base.

Prior to originally joining IDT, John led one of the largest Great Plains partners in Chicago, which specialized in ERP for mid market companies. John has over 20 years of sales, customer service and operational experience. Most recently, he held the position of VP of Sales for Stonewater Controls, a startup venture in the energy industry. His main focus has been on helping customers maximize their return on investment by recommending solutions that help companies reduce expenses and increase revenues.

John has extensive sales experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Content Management. He has provided solutions to customers across all industries and for organizations of diverse size in both the private and public sectors. He has worked extensively with utilities and government entities.

John has successfully completed the following training: Solution Selling, ROI Selling, and Microsoft CAE.

John graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.
